Happy Weekend

Yesterday yielded these two finished products. They both took me some time to assemble which is rare. I usually tend to be faster when it comes to creating but for some reason I really wanted to take my time and not rush through these. And to be honest I had a lot more fun when slowing down and enjoyed the process.

This necklace was a recreation of something I did a long time ago and the lentils were actually ceramic coin beads from Summers Studios. In this piece I used Golem Studio lentils in an orange, aqua blue and brown palette.  The focal beads are from Gaea and the ceramic toggle is from Starry Road Studio. That section of chain is embellished with glass flower dangles. This piece sold very quickly and will be shipping out to Massachusetts today!

When I was in California, Amy Freeland gave me the most beautiful tin that at one time held hand lotion. It has the most beautiful birds on  the lid and I used one of them to create one of my riveted bracelet Focals. What I love about this piece is that I took some time to think about the connectors and ended up finding these awesome leather components from Tierra Cast. I will definitely be ordering more of these because they work so well with my focal!! I attached some deerskin leather to one side, and then one of Tree Wing Studios handmade leather feathers on the other side with a bird toggle from Green Girl Studios. Especially proud of this little number. It's available for sale here.
