Thursday

Just been throwing myself into work this week. Unfortunately the gig at museum wasn't working out. I felt bad to leave but I think that I need to follow my heart on this journey and making jewelry just feels right.

I'm sorry that the blog has been placed on the back burner but I hope to get back to regular postings now!

Getting ready for the first show of the season in a few weeks. May 24-25 I will be selling my wares at the annual Garden Party in Sharon Springs, NY. If you are in the area stop in and say hello! I am praying that the weather is magnificent.

I just want to make pretty things.  And enjoy  life.

    1. Hi Ann, ya know it's ok. I thought I'd give it a shot. Thought maybe I was ready to get back into the workforce but after spending a few weeks at it I realized that the money wasn't worth the stress and headaches. I will make jewelry until my fingers fail me.

  4. Hello Lorelei,
I've been a fan of your jewelry for sometime now. I have loved "bohemian" style since the 70's. Although I don't recall hearing that description then. I think I just referred to my taste as jewelry with a "gypsy flair."
I purchased your book (bohemian style) and lent it to a friend. She LOVED it so I ordered another one & let her keep it. I've made a few pieces from ideas in the book & I am complimented every time I wear them.
I love to see people following their heart & pursuing their visions & dreams.
Thank you for being such a huge inspiration to me. Blessings & smiles. ...Lorie Kirk

  8. These pieces look like you're following your heart in all things -- sorry the museum gig wasn't what you'd hoped it would be, but I'm happy to know you did what you had to do to keep yourself happy and creatively sane. No coincidence that the happiest piece in this bunch has wings on it, eh?
