  14. I got interested in making leather bracelets a month or so ago when one of my customers wanted me to make a leather bracelet for her son. I then happened upon Sara Lukkonen of CKoop Beads at a bead show and ended up getting a lot of supplies to work with and I am loving what I have made and I would dearly love to win that book to explore further. Thanks, Lorelei, for the chance to win it!

  16. Sounds and looks like a great book! I especially like the necklace you described as a sculptural piece, created with leather leaves. My studio isn't set up yet, as I just moved, so winning this book may be the perfect inspiration to get going on that! Very entertaining review by the way! ;)

  22. Lorelei, I just loved your video! You have such a wonderful relaxed... yet excited and passionate way about how you talk about jewelry making. Thanks for the review and can't wait for it to arrive in my mailbox! (Just doing a little positive future-casting here, assuming that I will win Melissa's awesome Leather Jewelry book!) :)

  23. Your enthusiasm is contagious! I love when you talked about the beads. That is a great idea! I have a copy of the book, so don't pick my name. But I would echo what you said. Especially the tools. I was delighted to find a corrugator on clearance at MIchaels the other day. Now I need to get a piece of leather and try it out! The sculptural aspect is the thing I love. Building layers and making the leather seem not like leather. That is what is cool. And if you don't win this great giveaway, by all means go and buy this book! Enjoy the day. Erin
