Thank God it's Monday

No seriously. Last week was not fun - the flu in the beginning of the week- lasted til about Wed. and then on Friday night I came down with some food poisoning unpleasantness and that foiled our Easter plans to go see my in-laws over the weekend. I was floored all day Saturday and yesterday was still drained. Finally feeling back to healthy self this morning. Geesh. Why not get it all over with in one week eh? Hopefully I don't have either of these things for a very long time.

Between you and me, I don't think people were very happy with me for ruining the easter weekend plans. If I could have helped it, I would have. Trust me, vomiting was not my first choice for Easter celebrations!

Yesterday while Joe worked on some things, I snuck into the studio and got lost in the beads for a while. Came out with four pieces that I think you'll enjoy!

Metallic Flower Power features a ceramic flower pendant from Round Rabbit Extra, an etched copper washer from Divine Sparks Design, some matte green glass rondelles, and these cool Metallic Resin briolettes which are so lightweight! I finished the clasp with a ceramic disc button from Round Rabbit Extra.

da Bomb earrings feature some olive color faceted Czech glass, and Turquoise rondelles with some brass fringe chain from AD Adornments. Love the long style and the colors are so great together!

Spring Gypsy earrings feature some new Bronze headpins from Starry Road Studios, and faceted labradorite, glass, kyanite sticks, coral, pink opal and Swarovski crystals, strung on some twisted wire from Beadalon.

Happy Queen features a Happy crown from Jade Scott, some fringe chain, new ceramic beaded chain from Jennifer 'Jangles', and some printed floral cording from Ornamentea.

  2. I hope you are feeling much better. As for family/friends being upset that you and Joe skipped this Easter, They will get over it. You would not have won either way, If you went and stayed in the bathroom the whole time, they would still be peeved that you came ill.. The jewelry is just beautiful. I saw the earrings and love the chain you used..
