Focusing on Life: Feel the Love

This is Cassius. After losing my 16 yr old brown Tabby last Sunday, we rescued 2 black kittens from a shelter.  This guy found me, and was on top of me and I felt the love immediately. His brother dJango isn't as much of a lover, but still super sweet anyway.  My heart is healing quickly and the pain lessens each day with each snuggle, and rub of noses. I love these guys.

If you'd like to see where the love is for the other participants, check them out here!

  17. What a darling!

When my golden retriever passed away, I held out three entire weeks before I found a new puppy to love. It was an agonizing time, but the rescue puppy brought so much love and happiness! I'm glad you're finding that after such a significant loss. *Hugs.*

  25. I'm so glad you adopted siblings -- they are usually separated and that has to hurt a kitty's heart as much as it would a human. Enjoy your new additions -- Marley would purr with approval, I know!
