Necklaceology by: Candie Cooper

I know a few "necklace-phobic" designers out there- that really like to make only earrings and have trouble putting a necklace together because of a lack of inspiration and well, earrings are just fun and easier! I have a solution! Candie Cooper's new book, Necklaceology is a great collection of necklace projects that are easy, fun and can be fiddled with to easily be made your own.  I was immediately inspired! I made this necklace -inspired by Candie's project in the book called "Simple"- She touts this piece to be great for Jeans. Plain White T. Cowboy Boots. This necklace. outfit DONE. I couldn't agree more! For my version I used a large slab of deliciously flashy Labradorite, and some green Kyanite rounds. Added some Soft Grey deerskin leather and a pewter Mamacita Beadworks button. DONE. Easy peasy!

There are projects for everyone in this book- beginners to advanced- and they are really great projects-Trendy and eye-catching. The photography rocks, and my favorite is Candie's little sketches for a few of the designs. It's an all around great book- you should go get one. BUT WAIT....

Guess what I have for YOU!
A SIGNED copy of
NECKLACEOLOGY
by Candie Cooper herself.

That's right. I'm giving it away to one lucky
designer.
