Long Strange Trip

Inspired by this lovely salmon pink VW Camper that I saw over the weekend.... I created this fun asymmetrical sherbet colored necklace featuring one of Stephanie Sersich's gorgeous lampwork mushrooms, and a ceramic connector from Diane Hawkey. Threw in some other lampwork, stones, and seed beads too. It's such a cute piece. I love how it turned out and thought "Long Strange Trip" was quite an appropriate name especially for Bead Fest coming up this weekend.

If you are going to bead fest, stop by the Primitive Earth Beads booth from 1-2pm on Saturday Aug 18, Erin and I will be there signing our book!

  2. Love the beads, love the necklace, and love the VW camper! We travelled in one in the '70's, a little bit more "modern" than this one, but just as fun!

  3. Always amazed at your creativity, Lorelei... what a unique source for inspiration! Love how you tied together the two art beads with the colours of the smaller beads
