In about 2 weeks, my husband and I are off to enjoy a week long, well-deserved vacation to the state of Maine. I am really looking forward to reconnecting again, enjoying some great coastal food, and take in the sites. We'll be enjoying some time in Ogunquit, which we've been to before.  Gotta check out Portland. Booth Bay. and Freeport!

While we are there, why not sign some books right?? So I scheduled a book signing for Bohemian Inspired Jewelry at Beadin' Path in Freeport on Tuesday July 17, from 5 to 6:30pm. Looking forward to spending some serious time in their bead shop, it's one of my all time favorites ever. Ever EVER.  It will be fun to meet their staff especially owner, Heather deSimone. We've been in contact via the Facebook.  Anyway, I'm so excited!

So, if by a small chance you are in Maine, stop by to say hi!

  1. Awesome, Maine is a really fun, relaxing place to visit! So cool that you will be doing a book signing at Beadin' Path too. My husband and I vacationed in Bar Harbor (Mt. Desert Island) two years ago and loved it! I even convinced him to stop in Freeport on our way home to check out the bead shop (it's just off the highway honey, I promise)!

We will be in the ADK mountains during the same time for our annual family vacation! This year's crafty day will include creating polymer clay beads-woot!

Looking forward to seeing photos from your trip and reading about it!

  2. Have a great time! We'll be heading there for a very short weekend in August so I'd love to hear your "don't miss it" list...

  3. Have a great trip! I've never been to Maine (I don't count a layover in the Bangor Airport), but hear that it's absolutely gorgeous. We'll look forward to travel pictures and tales from the booksigning!

  4. Lorelei, make sure not to miss all the great Freeport outlet shopping (if you're into that LOL). My hubby travels to Portland several times a year on business and he says all the GUYS come armed with shopping lists from their wives and are REQUIRED to do some bargain hunting in Freeport! Now that I know about Beadin' Path I'll have to make my own list... TeeHee!
