Lucrative Weekend

What a beautiful weekend it was!  Despite the gorgeous weather, I was still in the studio all weekend. Not to worry, I sat outside for about 20 minutes this afternoon and burnt to a crisp. At any rate, I think it was a pretty lucrative couple of days.

Snake Bite, above, features a bronze pendant from Andrew Thornton, and I knotted it onto the long burgundy shard tube bead from Marsha Neal Studio. The necklace includes faceted teardrop shaped Ocean Jasper, kyanite sticks, wood ovals, and a bronze tube bead. The toggle is from TheaToo, a pretty little flower shaped clasp. Lots of great colors and cool textures happening there.

I have been on a stamping rampage with these new wordy links I've been making.  Nothing adds to a piece of jewelry quite like a phrase of words to help tell the story. Above is a necklace using deep green deerskin leather, a ceramic leaf from Kylie Parry, my Seek Peace link, and then 3 strands up one side- peanut seed beads and brass metal rounds, African turquoise, and brass bicycle chain. The strands are corralled by a pretty patinaed flower bead cap. Shoot. Where did I get that flower.... I think Barbara Lewis!?

Here's another bracelet using these pretty glass lacy edged Czech beads that I found at Bead Fest. I used "Grow" and "Love" links, a Jade Scott flower charm, glass and lucite layered flower charm, and an enameled pinwheel connector from Jade Scott. The brass findings are from Vintaj Brass Co.
This is a lot like this one I made yesterday, that sold pretty quickly. And I also did another one that's in the shop with purples, and a bird toggle

This last one is a bit of a different style using the links. I added some thick brown leather cording, and indonesian glass beads, and Bunny charm from Summer Studios Etc. The brass findings are from Vintaj Brass Co.

Hoping you all had a great weekend. I wish it lasted a bit longer, I am just not ready to go back to work tomorrow. :(

I'm sorry to have to turn on the word verification here, but I got fed up with spammers comments!
