Cup of Bead Soup Hop with Spirited Earth Beads

Thank you for stopping into the Cup of Bead Soup Blog Hop  hosted by Lori Anderson and featuring  Spirited Earth Beads.
The above necklace features Nan's little bird pendant that is strung on leather cording with a Lisa Peters Art rectangular bead, some wood bar beads and a lampwork glass Egg from Kelleys Beads and bronze bead cap from TheaToo.

This second piece is a wrap bracelet - I used leather cording, Nancy's disc bead, connector, wood bars, lampwork headpins from Gardanne Bead. It's simple but works well with the first necklace design. The wrap bracelet is always a popular design and can be work in any season. The ceramic disc bead and connectors are a fun way to incorporate leather or some sort of cording.

The last necklace is my favorite. I used linen cording, sections of matte purple seed beads and faceted peach jade briolettes that match perfectly to the colors in Nan's cup of Soup pendant.  Pale mauve polyester chain around the back and then I added some brass components with peach seed beads, for some extra embellishment down the right side. The modern star flower shapes reminds me of how I feel when drinking a good cup of coffee.

  2. It amazes me how you can all receive the same components and come up with such different designs. Really like these, especially that wrap bracelet. It's one of my favorite styles.

  10. I love the dark wood! It really showcases the beads. Your cup necklace is fantastic those starburst make the neckband visually interesting without competing too much with the pendant.
