February Art Bead Scene Challenge

I will be entering this beauty into the Art Bead Scene monthly challenge!  Have you entered your designs yet? You've got lots of time, the deadline is Feb. 29. This month's painting is a page from a manuscript. The peacock stands right out for me, in this piece.

  1. Lovely, colorful piece! I have been mulling this challenge over in my mind, considering the bird beads in my stash, wondering what and when Heather Powers will ship for the Disk Bead of the Month Club this month, looking at Erin's Etsy treasury for the challenge. Decisions, decisions!

  6. What a gorgeous piece- I like how you used the fabric to inspire your design. Your focal bead has such a luscious color to it.
I also like the purple cording/ribbon that you used in combination. Good luck in the challenge.

I think I may make this my first go at the ABS challenge. I'm in love with manuscript illustrations and this one is especially lovely.

  9. I love the rich colors in this piece! That peacock pendant is gorgeous, and I love the lampwork bead.

I haven't entered an ABS challenge since October, and I need to get in gear. But I'm having some trouble coming up with a design idea for this month.
