Mondays are for Suckers

This is what most of my weekend looked like. Which is okay with me, sometimes this is what a weekend should be. Relaxing. Veggie out on the couch watching the Voice. My new favorite show. I mean, this show is way better than American Idol. The judges are more interesting, the talent seems a bit better- I get hooked when it's on and I still can't figure out why it's on, on a Sunday afternoon. They must replay it on E! on the weekend from the week before. Which is so cool because then I can catch it. As long as I'm doing this and not other things.

Eventually I did get off the couch to do 2 things. Eat.  {we had Big Mac style burgers. HOW have I not done this before!? They were so good- there is just something about Russian dressing that makes a burger better!}
And I did make a few things for the shop. Although mostly replicas of designs I've done in the past but still, at least I got into the studio. These are all listed on etsy.

I'm a little sad it's Monday. Back to work :(

  1. You're right ... we definitely need mental health days from time to time where we escape into TV and food! Glad you had what you needed. :-)

  3. this sounds just what a weekend should be.. downtime, good food and studio time..
    my thought..a week should have 2 sundays and no mondays at all.

  4. I continue to be in awe of your design skills! I wish you'd 'teach' more. Slowly, by going over and over your designs, I'm learning some things... but anytime you're stuck for something to write about, I'd love to see a play-by-play on why you chose one bead over another, etc. There is so much to learn, and it seems to be so intuitive for you.

  5. I love the pic of you. Those are the best days. Doing absoutly nothing. The designs are beautiful. I adore the sea turtle. We don't have a couch anymore. lol. I miss it. Have a wonderful Monday night. I will have to try the Russian on my next burger. Sounds good.

I'm sorry to have to turn on the word verification here, but I got fed up with spammers comments!
