New beads from Doreen Willey- she is the mastermind behind these lovelies! Couldn't you just eat them! Believe it or not, they are polymer clay. I have no idea how she gets that sandblasted texture but it is outstanding.  I am looking forward to hoarding these for a little while, and then I'll use them- it might be a while.

  1. These are GORGEOUS! I thought they were felted beads before I read your description. Think I'd hoard them, too.

  14. Surprised to hear that those are polymer clay beads. Super cool, too bad I can't feel them cause I am kind of obsessed with texture.

I have been wanting a Macro lens for quite sometime. For now I use the Macro setting on my camera but a lens that would allow me to get 300x closer and see all the nicks and groves of things would be awesome.

  20. Very neat. I have some similar ones from a different
Etsy vendor and I always wonder how they get that texture, too.
