Inspired by Cabbages!?

Not just any old cabbages, these are SPANISH cabbages. Right in the center of Madrid. And they were incredibly inspiring, just look at that texture and color!
So I put together this asymmetrical beaded bracelet with some purple and green stone rounds that I found at Michaels... a sweet sleeping bunny from Tree Wings Studio and a teal button that I got from that cool button shop in Salamanca, Spain.
What have you been inspired by lately??

  1. Those cabbages look like big beautiful flowers! The bracelet is sweet looking, as is the rabbit. I have not been inspired lately.

  2. I love those cabbage beads - such wonderful colors. You don't think "cabbage" when you see them, but when next to that pretty picture, they're perfectly inspired.

Meanwhile, I'm inspired by wood and brown and the soft hues of spring. Got an order from Lima Beads the other day and I should have taken a picture - everything was brown and wood!

  7. I found those same beautiful beads at Michaels, really pretty, aren't they? I love the addition of the bunny...reminds me of a good Beatrix Potter story. :-)

  8. I got some rustic copper and metal components from Miss Fickle Media and Dream Some (both on Etsy) that are inspiring me at the moment. I made a pair of earrings tonight with copper metal clay drops from Dream Some and soft green shell pearl beads which I wrapped with a copper swirl.

  10. Great color palette!
My Mother always told me that as a baby I was found under a cabbage leaf being raised by rabbits before she actually owned up to me being her biological daughter. :)
This bring back wonderful memories of family springtime and Easter. Thank you

  13. I am aghast hoe inspirations could come from even a cabbage. They look very good in the unusual color combination...aqua and pinks makes the piece very attractive.
