I love Product!

I've always been a product girl. As a teen I was always into the newest products, make up, perfume, shampoo, you name it. Not much has changed over the years, other than the fact that I can now splurge on some of my favorites. I thought I'd share some of my most coveted products, as of lately.
I used to be a big fan of Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner until it started drying the S*** out of my hair. I went to the salon one day and asked if they could recommend a moisture rich shampoo and conditioner and before I could get out the whole word conditio.... the stylist said BIOLAGE. Huh? Ok, I'll try it. That next day, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful smell, and when I styled my hair that day, I couldn't believe I was feeling such a difference that soon! It's wonderful! I recommend it.

Upstate NY, especially in the winter months, causes me some wicked dry lips, and to combat it, I like the medicated version of Burt's Bees lip balm. Always have been a fan of the cooling menthol of this balm- and nothing is better when they get all dry and sore.

I recently bought (SPLURGED) on Oil of Olay Total Effects face lotion- I absolutely love it- I put lotion on my face every morning, and although I was tempted to buy the one that has some facial tanner in it, I went with the normal stuff for now, and it works great. My skin has such an even tone, with no weird red spots or dry patches. Great stuff!

Body wash is another favorite in the shower, and I can't get enough of the Japanese Cherry Blossom scent from Bath and Body Works. I tend to go a little overboard with scents, so I only use the body wash. and maybe a little lotion.

This Desert Essence Tea Tree oil face wash is the best for combatting acne- I have a small black head problem, and this is the best stuff for it. My face has never felt so squeeky clean than after using this! I know you'll dig it.

And last but not least, my friend Nancy told me about a new upstate NY Etsy seller, Latherati Soap, that sells amazing scents, and lotions. She lives 20 min. away from me, and I thought- well, what the heck. Nancy was raving about 5-6 different scents that she picked up from a local show, so I ordered a few roll on perfumes, a lotion, and a dry oil spray, all in different scents. My favorite out of all of them is this one, Matchmaker: comprised of ripe strawberries, orchid and a touch of plum- ummm hello!? DELIGHTFUL!!

Thought I'd change things up today- but be sure to check out this new necklace on Big Cartel. I made the pendant myself and am particularly proud of it.

  2. Cool post, I use a lot of the same products, I had the same problem with Paul Mitchel Tea Tree drying out my hair as well, I learned that it's only beneficial to use about once every two weeks as a deep clarifying shampoo. Thanks for sharing the link to the soap shop, I think I'm going to have to stock up on some of her products for Christmas gifts :)
