Penny For Your Thoughts, Mr. Owl

Comments

  1. Cute! I like the colors you chose, they brighten up the Owl and the bronze and citrine tie him in. Like the video! I think "sharing the process" videos are interesting and easier than trying to do a tutorial type thing. Like Demos rather than tutorials! It's always interesting seeing a piece in process before it's finished for any craft.

  2. Clever name, working in the focal bead that turned out to be a "penny". Videos that show the creative process are one of my favorites. As Erin said in her comment, so much more interesting, and therefore more likely to be used, than a tutorial. Thanks for spending so much time on the video. I can't imagine how many necklaces you would've made during that time. It all counts!

  3. I will have to go back and watch that video tonight. Is that Mr Owl from LPA that I sent you from B&B? He is all grown up and sporting a spiffy accessory. Makes me think that I have some LPA in my drawers that need to be dusted off and come out to play. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy the day.

  8. I love how the necklace turned out and the suprise extra on the other side. It was really interesting listening to your thought process on the video and playing with the different color beads. I wish you would have showed yourself wire wrapping - your loops are always so perfect. Do you use regular round nose pliers or ring makers? Thanks for sharing.

  11. Love it! I have a bad habit of sticking with a couple colors in my jewelry, but you've shown me that I can 'branch out' and use several colors.

    A great piece--thanks for sharing!
