this little video clip.

Yesterday I went home to see my Mom and family for the first time since Christmas. It's not that it's a long drive, just 2.5 hours, I guess I just got caught up in life and work and hadn't really made time to travel down there. I took the "back way" up over the hill to get to my hometown. It's a nice scenic route, with very little traffic. I took a bit of video ... was rocking to the music.

This is me and my baby Brother, Bren. He is the baby of the family and is 14 yrs old.

My sister Frances and my Moms

Here are some nice pics I snagged while I was home. We always have a good time when we get together, there was laughing and giggling and lots of rib poking.

I need to go home more often.  I went down to celebrate a late Mother's Day with Momma, and celebrate an early birthday for me. Did I mention my birthday is Tuesday? It's like my favorite day ever, I wouldn't want you to forget. :D

A fun pic of the 3 of us. First one ever, I think!!

I might add that this is the nicest picture I have gotten with my Mom, since my wedding in '02!  She's a sweetie my Moms.

Come on back again later (at 4pm est) to see a video tutorial on using ribbon in a necklace design. Plus the Weekly Blogger Links. AND Since it's my birthday week this week, I have some awesome beading books to review and give away. Lots of upcoming FUN on the Lorelei's Blog! :)

  8. It made me laugh when you said that your birthday was your favorite day ever. My husband says, I celebrate for the whole month. Glad I found someone else who loves their birthday as much as I do!

  9. Awww. That is sweet. The three of you. Put that in a frame.
I don't always think to get my camera out when I am with family but I really should. Thanks for reminding me that even the little moments are to be celebrated and savored. Enjoy the day!
