Necklace Round Robin- Group 2

This second group of ladies includes me, Barbe Saint John, Kerry Bogart, and Mary Jane Dodd!
An equally fun group of designers, each with their own special personalities and designs styles! Unfortunately I forgot to photograph my necklace start for this group, so you'll have to wait until Kerry blogs about the necklaces in a few days! sorry! i know, I'm so lame!
This first one is Mary Jane's necklace. She started her necklace with some brass chain, a wire wrapped turquoise dangle, a soldered copper ring, and one of Beth's HINT charms with the image of a horse. I added a Jade Scott pendant that says "Kind Touch" and is a soft palette of pinks, yellows and purple colors. I attached a small purple vintage button inside the copper ring. I added a few links of larger cable chain in a nice copper color, and wire wrapped some beautiful opalescent rounds together.

Here is Kerry's necklace. Kerry created a longer style necklace with silver wired links and one of her large lampworked glass rings, and beautiful gunmetal chain, and teal blue silk cording. Interpreting the style of this piece was tough for me so this is what I came up with. I think it's really cool how open Kerry's piece was to interpretation!!

Barbe started her necklace with a lovely handmade double sided picture pendant, a deep red gem hanging below, and some darkened copper chain. I added little blue moonstone droplets below the pendant, each wire wrapped with copper wire. Up one side, I wire wrapped faceted Ruby Quartz rondelles, a black and white polka dotted lampwork glass bead from Kelleys Beads, and a faceted lucite bead in a deep chocolate brown (a bead that I got in London!)

I sent these out yesterday and Kerry got them today and was feeling so motivated and inspired, she's already added her additions to each! Next up on the list is Mary Jane. I can't wait to see what each of these talented ladies contribute to each one!

  3. Omg! You are so busy. The picture in Barbe's is so unique. I like the way it keeps staring at me. Or maybe I don't like the way it's staring at me. "Stop staring at me!"
