Best Husband Ever

When I got home from work yesterday,
I found this when I got upstairs.

The bead room was:
Dark, and dismal
NAVY BLUE

The new color:
Vintage Map

by Martha Stewart

jewelry was not created because the
room looked like this:

Joe got one full coat on the room.
The second coat will go on Saturday.
I'll post more pics when the room
is put back together again.
I love the new color.
I'm looking forward to decorating it.
I want to use an antique tablecloth that
has some red in it, for the curtain/valance.
I wish I knew how to sew!!

  1. I love that color! I was thinking when I first saw pics of your studio that the color was very depressing. But white is so pedestrian-- this is much more fun and this will make you think of sunny beaches even in the winter-- good man!

  7. What a wonderful surprise for you! Awesome color and such a treat to have someone else do the painting :)

Red tablecloth for the curtains sounds like an excellent idea. Can't wait to see pics of this room when it is finished!

  8. Hi Lorelei,

Looks like you and your husband have been very busy. Love the new Vintage Map color for your studio. Although I have to admit the name makes it sounds like you are heading off on a new exotic adventure. Can't wait to see your new studio! Post some new pics when you are finished.
