Out and About

This sign made me laugh out loud.

Yesterday, Joe and I ventured out into the cold to do some perusing at some local antique shops. I didn't find anything that really spoke to me, but we enjoyed just looking at stuff, just the same. I brought my camera along so that I could take pictures of fun things along my way. (which was actually more fun than I thought!)

This owl was so bizarre. There were a few of them. I think they were made out of papier-mache and feathers.

If I had a lot of money, I would definitely use of these pretty sinks in my bathroom that we are renovating. They were gorgeous in person.

Joe tried to convince me that $250 was a "good price" for a nice Adirondack chair. *COUGH! wha!??

This was so odd. A big cabinet chock FULL of old antique glass bottles. I forgot to check how much this Boylan's Soda bottle was!! :)

I fell head over heels in love with this very large oak mirror. It had to stand at least 12 feet tall. It had a really cool shelf on it too, at the bottom.

This tea set was so awesome. I loved it. I had never seen anything quite like it. It had the coolest texture! I tried to photograph it but it wasn't easy.

This little setup was sweet. I could see this in my house. Everything coordinated just right. I'm not sure about the silver "expedition" hat. Probably would have to nix that part of it. But everything is so so pretty!

Here is just a view of one of the shops we were in. It was soo big. We were there at least an hour looking through stuff.

Make sure you stop back in later on tonight. I will announcing the winner of this week's SURPRISE giveaway!

Now back to glazing those beads that are headed your way (soon I promise!).

I'm sorry to have to turn on the word verification here, but I got fed up with spammers comments!
