update on anne choi bead purchase

Ok this is the third time I am typing this. Blogger is totally shot today. I tried to add this to my anne choi post and it keeps deleting it.

I finally made enough cash to buy my little anne choi bead! YAY! Thank you to everyone who made purchases in my shop today! I couldn't have done it without you!! It's a win win situation!
Unfortunately, now I must wait for my money to transfer from Paypal to my bank account. I just hope the bead doesn't sell out in the 3-4 day period it takes for this to happen. And unfortunately, Anne doesn't reserve beads. At least that's what it says on her website. And she only takes credit cards.

Now I must vent. Paypal really made me mad today. I applied for a paypal debit card. They denied me. All because I didn't meet 1 of the many requirements- which was that I don't have a business paypal account. Are you f***ing kidding me? Now here's the really shitty part. I wouldn't have to wait for the money to transfer from paypal to bank for my bead purchase, if I had a paypal debit card.
thanks a lot paypal.
thanks for nothin.

Welcome to my world, Lorelei!!!! I hate Paypal and have for the last 2 years. They are nothing but trouble and have the crappiest customer service in the entire universe...
BTW - Congrats on you impending bead acquisition!

  2. Knock wood, I've had really good experiences with Paypal. Don't go ticking off the PayPal Gods! LOL! I'm sorry you had such trouble with them! I hope your beauty of a bead arrives swiftly!

I have too. Been really lucky up until this small snafu. I just wish they would have given me a more legitimate reason for denying me. Do know anything about having a business account. I don't... but it sounds like something you have to pay for?

  4. Lorelei, I'm surprised with your Etsy shop that you don't already hava a business account ... might check on that. I think it's the difference between someone who is a seller - but not completely sure. Until you said something I thought mine was a business account but I do have to wait when I transfer money so maybe not ... headed off to check on that.

  5. There is no charge for a business account. It's just a simple upgrade and well worth it. You can do it! :)

  6. Oh, i love my paypal debit card. It's no biggie to do the upgrade. I've used paypal for the last 7 years without a single problem with a business account. Yeah for the bead, I have an Anne Choi on my wish list too.

I'm sorry to have to turn on the word verification here, but I got fed up with spammers comments!
