Some Raku Goodness: Lisa Peters Art

I've been designing jewelry for 2 years now. I've been selling jewelry for 1-1/2 years. Within the past 6 months, I'd say, I can finally say that I've become successful enough to finally be able to purchase handmade jewelry components that make my heart go pitter patter.... components that are a bit pricier than the average bead. For example, I have been drooling over Lisa Peters Raku pendants and beads for some time. I was finally able to purchase a few of her lovelies and they are on their way to me!

Lisa works with stoneware and porcelain and her primary glazing technique is Raku. Each of her pieces encompasses an organic and beautiful shape... the imperfect circle, funky textures, the unexpected. The glazing creates a shimmery surface, one that has a metal quality. "A primitive feeling"- I love all of her work, and I hope to use more of it in the future. Where to find Lisa Peters Art:
